Meet Dr. Ankit Rohatgi, MD, MBA, CPE, FACP

About Dr. Rohatgi

Dr. Rohatgi serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Evolve Health. He received his medical degree from Grant Medical College (Mumbai, India). Dr. Rohatgi trained in Emergency Medicine and Trauma in the United Kingdom and then completed his residency in internal medicine from Unity hospital (Rochester, NY).

 

After medical school, Dr. Rohatgi received his MBA with a concentration in Health Sector Management (HSM) from Duke University. He is a fellow with American college of physicians (ACP) and is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine.

Telehealth Specialities

Dr. Rohatgi supports patients with a wide variety of primary care, preventative and complex chronic care needs virtually, through Evolve Health's patient portal. Types of services he can provide:

• diagnose and treat various acute conditions such as respiratory illnesses including allergies, bronchitis, colds and flu,  gastrointestinal illnesses, urinary tract infections

• evaluation and management of various dermatological conditions

• management of chronic health conditions including hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and obesity

• monitoring prescription medication usage and prescription renewals

• advising patients on suitable diets and exercise regimens to improve overall health 

• management of other conditions such as anxiety, depression and stress disorders
